I think they realize it too - but as far as making amends and such it goes along the same lines as them saying they need to back off the abortion issue - they SAY all these things - but then you look at what they're doing and it's completely opposite. Until they actually make changes to the party platform the only republicans that are going to be left are the rich old white guys - which is what they've elected and appointed. Perhaps this last election has pointed out to them that in this day and age there are others besides old rich white guys who vote.
