Naomi:

You were right about the rights on VFP home directory, I tried many times to remove the Read Only property and it always returned back to read only, this is weird because if I create a table without CD’ing to a work folder I can create a table or a program into the VFP home folder.

However, Tore Bleken advice worked for my situation.
