I installed iTunes and in the process of importing CDs. The purpose is to play the CDs on the computer and transfer some music to iPhone. By default iTunes keep the media (music files) in the folder c:\users\user name\my music\iTunes\iTunes Media. I am thinking of changing this folder in the iTunes preferenct to c:\iTunes. The reason is that if/when I need to move all music to another computer it will be easier to XCOPY the entire content of iTunes folder. Otherwise, if I change the name of the user - or MS changes the folder naming conventions - the transfer to another computer will be possible but not as straight forward. Does this logic make sense?
