>>The first thing that jumps out at me (other than the snow) is the color of the buildings. Gray? Beige? (Recalling your posts on the lack of bright colors on houses and autos here) You must be suffering.... :) :)

But down the road you can see few shades of yellow, lilac, pistachio green, azure and a few others. And my car is pretty much #0000ff, though presently it's quite #ffffff :). And the gray cars have arrived, and gray box shops as well. I still prefer to shop in colorful small mom'n'pop shops, or at least with small entrepreneurs.

>My house used to be white with brown windows and shades. And last we checked in 2005, it still was. Then around 2006 something stuck to the surface - I know because one terrace got roofed in 2007, and the wall under the roof is just as dirty. Maybe in a year or two I'll buy a pressure washer and just give it a face lift.

>>As for the snow, I love it! As long as it is there and not here! I think snow is beautiful and it brings back fond memories of my youth, but I'm very glad I don't have to shovel it here! :) I love the one or two times a year we get snow here - enjoy it when it arrives (and I do) because it will be gone by the next day!
