What's "a lot" of controls? You should be able to do dozens in 30 seconds.

Even though the coverage log should have caught it, one trick is to watch the trace window in the debugger and see if it stops long enough on a line of code for you to see what it is. You could also put a page frame on your form and not refresh the non-visible pages until the user clicks them. You can then avoid doing that part of the refresh until the user needs it.

>I am putting a lot of controls tied toa database. It takes over 30 seconds to refresh. We tried timing it with "Set Coverage" and from "calling" the form to the final "set focus" when the pointer appears on the screen, timing stats show only 2.330 total. It normally would not be a problem but some of our users are coming through T-1 circuits and what is 30 seconds to us, is minutes to them.
