It isn't that difficult to hook in ON SHUTDOWN to do the same thing as Exit from the menu. That way, the X will work too, as will Task Manager.

>For what it's worth, and if memory serves, which is doubtful as I'm in the same age class, you might want to add "on shutdown" and "clear events" before you "quit". To be honest, my applications only quit via the the quit item in the menu and I will admit getting a WTF kind of look when I tell some of my users that that is the only way to leave the application.
