It will not, unless you insert chr(12). However, it is possible that your printer may have a certain number of lines set after which it automatically ejects a page (whatever that may mean on those printers, probably about 4cm of tape). If that's the case, you may need to look into the escape sequences for your printer and to set that to zero or whatever value means "don't ever eject" for that printer.
That's what I meant with "manually". These printers have all kinds of trickery built into them, but you need to learn those if you want to tame them.
