>I think some virus or Trojan got into my computer and now I only see one drive C: whereas before I had drivers D: and E:. The drive C: only shows very little space left. When I run the Windows Security Essentials it says that it cannot clean the computer and recommends downloading the Standard System Sweeper from some site. Does this sound as legitimate?
Yesterday I downloaded Avast and ran it twice (at boot time). Avast found 7 viruses, deleted them all. But I still don't see drives D: and E: on my computer. Actually last night, while troubleshooting (basically starting MSE many times) at one time the drives D: and E: showed up.
Now, aside from the fact that the computer does not "see" drives D: and E:, Avast reports that it blocked a Malicious URL BLOCKED. But these malicious URLS keep coming back, again and again.
