>>>I am looking at UT from FireFox. I can increase the fonts of the FireFox (by going to View -> Zoom). But the text on the toolsbar above (where it says, Search, Calendar, Member, Folder, etc) is very small. The same is a problem with the command Send, Preview, etc; too small. Is there a setting in UT that would allow me to increase these fonts?

>I was wondering, do you think it is safe to use UT and some trusted sites (like my bank which already has my money <g>) from IE and all other sites from FF (for safety)? E.g. when I wanted to log into my bank account (online) it says I have to have JS enabled so I would have enable it in FF anyway; why not then use it from IE?

Yes, just think carefully about what you call a "trusted" site. I take it to mean one that is widely considered to be secure and has a good security track record.

Sites that depend on a trustworthy reputation, and are constantly scrutinized internally and externally are probably pretty safe. Facebook, Yahoo, Microsoft, ...

Sites where $ are involved: *may* be trustworthy. Online shopping, online banking, ... Unlike Canada, there are a lot of small mom&pop banks in the US which may not have large IT budgets. It wasn't too long ago that the security of quite a few US bank sites was shockingly poor, some of them didn't even implement SSL. Some sites implement online shopping by adding a canned module. If these modules (or even complete web app frameworks) get exploited, then usually thousands of sites get infected very quickly e.g. http://thenextweb.com/insider/2012/12/12/researchers-warn-of-bulk-wordpress-and-joomla-exploit-tool-serving-fake-antivirus-malware-to-users/ .

The beauty of NoScript in particular is that it's very granular. You can choose to allow only the content absolutely required for the site to function, and deny all the fluff. You may find that even your trusted banking site may include a couple of others like google-analytics. Why take the risk? Deny anything not necessary.

I use IE for only 2 things:

- Remote Web Access/Remote Web Workplace to various SBS servers, which requires the RDP plugin for IE
- Some Canadian government web sites, which enforce use of IE
