You have to forgive people for his/her ignorance. Putting down others is something one does when they do not care for the feelings of others or reality.

By the way a large number of guns in the hands of the “bad guys” come from home burglaries. People who have legal weapons who are burglarized end up unwillingly supplying the “bad guys”. The guns are sold and resold and are all around us.

Now what are “law abiding citizens”? What in fact does that comment mean? Many people feel that they are “law abiding citizens” when in fact they may not be. How about the owner of a gun shop who sells weapons without a background check? Oh, that would never happen in this country! Some states got around the background check, I know for a fact. Nevada is one.

Some people think it is all right to shoot and kill others for his/her own justifiable reason. They are God fearing, Bible thumping, real Americans! They just have his/her own ideas about what a law is and is not. To them just laws are the ones they agree with. Surely such persons can do as they wish, for it is God's will.

One nice thing about discussions like this is you know who to put on your list of persons who should seek mental health professionals. :)
