When I distribute my app to windows95
I include the regsvr32.exe file
and attempt to do someting like
(exactly like)
regsvr32 c:\windows\system\gear32po.ocx

The I get the message "Load Library Failed " blah blah...
So I copy mfc*.dll and msv*.dll into system
but this doesn't work...

I can only do something like
' \\mycomputerwhichworks\c\winnt\system32\regsvr32.exe
c:\windows\system\gear32po.ocx'

Which works ....

But note: If I fail to copy the files mfc*.dll
Then I get 'Register Succeed' but when I start my app I get 'OLE Error '
invalid class string'
Then when I copy mfc's and msv's and regsvr32 again it's fine.


Questions:
1) How does one normally register a contorl on windows95 without
regsvr32.exe
2) What files are needed? I though it was mfc*.dll and msv*.dll but
copying those files doesn't solve the problem.
3) Is there somewhere to install a Win95 version of regsvr32.exe
