Soooo.... iPad replaces $10,000 piano and Surface replaces 10 cents worth of finger-paint and paper? No matter how you look at it the MS ad is dumb. The devices are going to cost more than an iPad yet their marketing seems to be geared toward people who either wont spend the extra $ or who won't have the $. Why not show a college kid (yes I know the $ factor) doing some productive homework assignments then getting a high-paying job all the while clickclick pointpointing touchtouching is W8 surface machine? Seems like that would hit what SHOULD be their target market a little better than showing children finger-painting (on a $2,000 device). Better yet show the college kid with one of the RT ones - then as he graduates moves to the full-blown OS version. Seems like anyone with an IQ larger than the windows version number should be able to figure this out. Who is it at Microsoft that's responsible for these dumbass TV commercials anyway?
