Win8 is optimized for touch, but doesn't require it. I don't have touch on my laptop and Win8 works just fine.

If I upgraded this machine to Win8 would I suddenly be able to do things by touching the monitor, dragging, growing/shrinking, etc.? One thing I love about my setup is the two large monitors and I sure don't want to run out and replace them with touch-sensitive monitors (if that's what I would need to do). Can someone please clarify this for me?
