There is a man named Dale who lives about 3 miles
away from me as the crow flies. In November, a near
neighbor of his allegedly conspired to fill their house
with natural gas for several hours, and then trigger a
time delayed fuse, subsequently igniting the gas.

The explosion rattled my neighborhood so strongly
that my neighbors and I all ran out to see what it was.
My immediate neighbor thought someone had literally
crashed into his house with their car because the thud
shook all our houses, inside and out, to such a degree.

Closer to the epicenter, broken windows, siding, blown
in garages, doors, and the ~30 homes in the immediate
vicinity are being leveled one by one (due to extreme
structural damage). The closest neighbor's home was
completely leveled at the time of the explosion. Both
occupants were killed.

Dale is being given the run-around by his insurance
company. He's been living in a hotel, subsisting largely
on charity. He's suffered emotionally, physically, as has
his wife. Today he said the week ending January 5, 2013
was the worst week of his life.

Dale was in tears today talking about it. A good, honest
man struggling very hard due to circumstances of his
residence, and the alleged evil actions of those involved
in setting off the bomb.
