>I installed SQL Server 2008 Express on customer server. During the installation I didn't see the option to specify where to install it. So it got installed on C: driver. The customer IT says he wants me to move it to the E: driver. I am looking at the Control Panel -> Programs and Features and see many Microsoft SQL Server ??? items installed today. Do I need to uninstaller all of them? Here is the list of the items I see:
>MS SQL Server 2008 R2 (64-bit)
>MS SQL Server 2008 R2 Native Client
>MS SQL Server 2008 R2 Policies
>MS SQL Server 2008 R2 Setup (English)
>MS SQL Server 2008 Setup support Files
>MS SQL Server Browser

>Please let me know if you suggest I uninstall or just some of the above? TIA

Do you really need to move the SQL Server installation, or just the databases.

The installation doesn't take a great deal of disk space. Databases can be the real hogs. Moving databases is easy.
