PPPS (including the previous post I misaddressed to myself -- my daughters may be right that I am going senile, LOL),
The really sad story about the Bears this postseason may be Brian Urlacher. He is possibly the most beloved player in Bears history, even more than Butkus, Sayers, and Payton. Even in his decline #54 jerseys fill the stadium. He gives his all on every play. On the road, too. He is possibly the fastest NFL linebacker ever, sideline to sideline pursuit. He is a lion in winter now, his best years clearly behind him. Now his expensive contract is expiring and there are hints the Bears will let him go. When the Bears drafted him as a little known cornerback from New Mexico there was some consternation. It took him about 5 minutes to erase that. He is THE Chicago Bear.
