In 2006/2007 I worked on an eBay buyer-side app called Nabit. We used C++ and SOAP for everything (gsoap), which created all of the source code we needed to include in our app, updated periodically as they released new WSDLs. Toward the end of that time period (mid-2007), eBay was really changing their policies on what data they would allow (at least) buyer-side apps to access. Don't know for sure about seller.

Don't know if it's still that way, or if those services are available. I assume they still have a WSDL and allow direct API access that way. There are probably even compiled C++ DLLs available that let you access it from VFP.
