I dont care who won what. If there is only one, thats a monopoly. If there are only a couple it invites a potential oligopoly.

As a MS proponent I understand where you come from. imo the exclusivity/monopoly model is bad. To defend its use because the model was not-invented-here is not a good argument, regardless of which entity uses it.
