>LOL. Now that would be a reality show worth watching.

>(Have you heard about a new reality show that will begin airing soon? It is about an Atlanta rapper, his 11 children, and their 11 mothers. It's called "All My Babies' Mamas." As Whil likes to say, I swear I am not making this up).

I have long held the belief that rap and all of its evil spawn ( Def Comedy Jam, Flavr of Luv, Bad Girls, the above reference show ) is the result of a plot by the Klan, the Aryan Nation and the White Citizens council to denigrate black America.

>There was a good line in Sunday's NY Times in an article about Belicheck and the Pats. It said he wears the perpetual expression of someone who is about to board a trans-Atlantic flight in a middle seat. His dourness is noticeable even in an exceptionally intense group, football coaches. I can't remember ever seeing him smile.

When he was in Cleveland this was a running theme. And of course his cutting Bernie Kosar for "diminished skills" was blasphemy. ( for those who did not live in Cleveland in the 80s, Bernie Kosar had brief fame as QB of a Miami national championship team, came to the Browns in the supplemental draft and gave the Browns their greatest glory moment since 1964 by *almost* winning a division title. ( not even sure John Elway remembers that game ... ) He is therefore a local legend. Few outside of Cleveland remember him. BB was not impressed. But of course he wouldn't be able to see genius in a QB.

Charles Hankey

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
