Here is the situation.
1. If I RDP to the server where VFP 9 application (that uses SQL Server) resides and start the executable the connection to the SQL Server works. I tried Windows authentication or SQL Server authentication, both work. (Note that the SQL Server is on the same box as VFP 9 application).
2. If I start the VFP 9 executable from a desktop on the network (either navigating to the server and running .EXE or creating a shortcut) the connection to the SQL Server denied. The computer/desktop from which I am running the .EXE is Windows 7. And I tried to run this .exe as administrator but the same negative result.
What could be preventing connection to the SQL server when starting the app from desktop and not the server?
