The only thing that changed is the video card? Try switching back to 800x600 or something and see if it works. And, can you create a shortcut and run the app properly in compatibility mode? Try WinXP SP3 and earlier. Also, as a last resort, try 640x480 mode.

It seems odd if it was running before and all you did was change the video card that it would stop working.
I have seen issues with AFFINITY and switching CPUs that causes issues. Those are resolved using the START command from the cmd prompt. I have seen memory issues where various dos=high, stacks, etc., have to be changed to get DOS apps to run properly.
