The company behind it seems to be a solid company (as opposed to the ones we have seen in the past) and their functionality is certainly looking impressive.

The support for other language like Python, PHP and Javascript as a real bonus I think.

Good luck with the rewrite, Walter. If I were in a similar situation I would give Lianja a look. Hank is obviously a smart guy and from what he has said about it here I am sure the product is well engineered. I have zero experience with Lianja, not being in that situation, so take this for what it's worth, i.e. just an opinion. One thing that would give me pause is that it is still under development. There have been promising products before that were never completed. What was the one that stirred up so much excitement here a few years ago and never shipped? Even the late, great Tom Rettig had one of them. He did ship TRO (Tom Rettig's Office) but only as an in-development version. The last released version was something like 0.39. So that would definitely be a factor in my mind. "Shipping is a feature."

I am sure Hank will be along to respond personally. Tell him you qualify for the Mike Beane Discount ;-)
