Attached are a few of screenshots showing some of the dialogs one uses to define or edit a table definition. Not much to add except that its like the VFP table editor but on steroids. Basically you not only define the fields of a table but also, optionally, how the fields should appear and be used in the application. This extra info is then used, if so desired, to help speed up the creation of input/output forms, reports and queries.

WinDev also has a RAD component, Rapid Application Development which can use this extra info to automatically generate forms and reports. I have not used it myself but I have heard that it has some flaws - the main issue seems to be that if you use RAD to generate the forms and reports and then modify the generated forms/reports and then re-generate the RAD then you will lose your changes ... hmmm, not good. We don't intend to use this RAD feature as we like to custom "hand-craft" each form that we use so no big deal for us but a warning.

One nice feature, amongst many others, is that if you create or edit a field in a table then WinDev automatically checks to see if that field name is used elsewhere in your analysis and offers to use an existing definition or to update existing instances of the field in the other tables.
In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends - Martin Luther King, Jr.
