That's insane. No wonder the biggest cause of personal bankruptcy in your country is medical bills.

I spent a day in the hospital in Orlando about 10 years ago. Total bill was over $5000. Here in Canada, if for some reason you have to pay (such as being from another country), the daily rate for hospitalization is a few hundred dollars.
