Hi Robert ---
If you have converted to VFP6, look at using the Coverage Profiler to help figure out what is going on....it's a BIG timesaver in determining how to optimize an application.
>I am doing some work for a company that has written a POS application in VFP3.0. For the last two weeks, I have been working on some enhancements, as well as converting the application from VFP 3.0 to VFP 6.0. The problem is that the application, when converted, runs extremely slow (3 - 5 seconds to move from object to object.). I did notice some syntax errors when compiling, but these were corrected, and I was then able to get a clean compile. I was lead to believe that VFP 6.0 was faster than 3.0. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be.
