I hope this is the right category as I haven't found an ODBC-makes-me-wonder-category.
I Have set up an ODBC-connection to an VFP-database and it used to work
fine until it suddenly (today) stopped working. Now I get an ODBS-Error 171 / State is S1000
and the ony thing I have found by now is an msdn article telling me to uncheck the fetch-option
which does not help.
I tried some variations and now I am more confused than before:

1. I set up an new ODBC-connection. No success.
2. I copied a backup (older version) of the db in the dir. No ´success.
3. I Set up an connection for another dbc in the dame dir. That works
4 I copied the whole dir to another place, changed the path/file-entry
in the ODBC -setup. Now it works

Can someone tell me what I am missing???
