There is a common misunderstanding about the Bill of Rights. Many people today believe the listing or enumeration of rights in our Bill of Rights is what gives people those rights. It doesn't. It never has. Rights cannot be given. Only privileges can be given.

Rights exist fundamentally, and there were many from our founding fathers who opposed even having a Bill of Rights attached with our nation or its Constitution because they believed that in decades to come, some would begin to think those rights were ours because it said so on that piece of paper. The opposition to including the Bill of Rights in our nation's Constitution did not believe any less in those rights. But they did believe, fundamentally, that rights simply existed when people were born, and that to enumerate any portion of those rights would be to encourage those who would take advantage of 1) removing the others, 2) limiting our rights to only those things explicitly enumerated, and 3) removing those which are enumerated.

It's worth studying the great scholars from 150+ years ago. And in this case, to read the Anti-Federalist Papers. It will go a long way in settings people's minds back to what the Liberty-seeking founders had in mind when they came to negotiate the foundation of our nation.

>It is now (and has been for decades), in most states in America,
>completely legal for a law enforcement officer to randomly set up
>a road block for the sole purpose of arbitrarily stopping citizens to
>search both their car and parts of their bodies on the off chance that
>the driver is possibly drunk.

There are three types of law provisioned in our U.S. Constitution: Common, Equity and Admiralty. Common Law is common sense stuff (don't kill people). Equity is fairness law (what is most equitable). And Admiralty Law used to be the law of the sea, but it is business law, contract law, the things you voluntarily agree to.

The reason why it is legal within the United States to stop people randomly is because they have agreed to it beforehand. When driving an automobile they don't own, they agree to the terms of the owner (the state). If you think you own your automobile, look at the title. What does it say? It says "Certificate of Title". If you have a gift certificate, do you have the gift? Or a piece of paper representing the gift? You must take the gift certificate somewhere to obtain the real, tangible gift. Until then, it's a piece of paper representing the gift which can be bought, sold, exchanged, bartered, without really affecting the gift at all. It is the same with automobiles. In order to own your automobile outright you need something called a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin, or MSO, a type of "birth certificate" for your car. All cars have these. When you buy your car, it is transferred to the state under which you go and get it titled and licensed. Within that licensing is the contract you've agreed to. For the use of their car, you agree to abide by all the laws and code they setup.

Code is NOT law. It's different. It must be agreed to. It is an amalgam of Equity and Admiralty Law created to have dominion over people in a way that is not governed by the U.S. Constitution. It is something you must sign (in ink) to agree to via contract. And once you do that, you lose all protection under the U.S. Constitution and the Common Law condition most people still believe they're under in America--but they're not still under it because clever, designing men and powers that be have taken that away from nearly all of us.

It's like when you agree to build a house for someone, and take their money, and fail to build the house. They can sue you. There was a contract, and you can go to jail because you did not live up to that contract. It's the same here, but in many of the everyday things we think we possess.

There is so much that is misunderstood in this nation. I would recommend watching Michael Badnarik's Class on the U.S. Constitution. It is available on YouTube, and he offers classes in your city. You can see it here (7 parts, each about 50 minutes):

There are real things happening in this world. They relate to powers above men. The Bible refers to these as "...the rulers, the authorities, the powers of this dark world, and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." This is why things are happening in this world the way they are. This is why everything that has been foretold in Revelation is going to happen. But it is not too late for ANYONE who wants to come out of it. You will still go through it, but you will not be of it.

I pray some of you will hear this.
