Cathy Pountney, in her book on the VFP Report Writer (2002), gives some code on pages 232-236 on how to change the COPIES= and DEFAULTSOURCE= lines in the Expr field of the first record in the FRX file of a report form in order to change the number of copies and the paper tray.
Are you advocating that developers never mess with the Expr field and always keep it blank?
If so, what approach would you recommend to set up a report-specific printer that also allows the user to specify number of copies and the paper tray so that without any user intervention when the report is actually printed, it always goes to the specified printer, uses the specified tray and prints the specified copies?
Thanks very much,
Stan
