what are your issues? I've just finished doing a cross-platform under same versions. Learned a lot (mostly bad about Mac 3.0)

some things to look out for
- Can't have any stored procedures in DBC since they're compiled - that would include RI code
- MAc 3.0 doesn't automatically return .T. from methods if there is no code in the method - for hooks, this means putting a "Return .T." in the method if you don't want any "code" in it.
- best to start a Mac project and rebuild and recompile before ever starting to work
- Mac3.0 does not support outer joins and probably a lot of other stuff that I didn't discover
- Mac 3.0 is SLOWER than honey dripping uphill in winter - don't even think about anything less than about a 200Mghz power mac - much faster if possible - NO 68k machines!
- It's buggy - both in design and runtime

Good news is that, with these limitations - it DOES actually work sort of ... lemme know if you have specific issues - maybe I can help

>It has been a while since I have coded in an xbase language so please bear with me. I currently have a copy of VFP 3.0 for Mac and VFP 5.0 for pc. I was told by the company that we bought the software from that the two versions were compatable. I have yet to be able to open any VFP 5.0 files with the Mac version. Where is cross-platform issues addressed in the docs or better yet what the heck am I doing wrong?
