>"When assault rifles are outlawed, only outlaws will have assault rifles."
>
>The founding fathers enumerated the "right to bear arms" explicitly to give the people the ability to defend against tyranny and aggression, from government mostly, but not exclusively.
Please list the exact words in the 2nd amendment here and then please defend why everyone needs an assualt gun? Why do the gun lobby always omit the words "A well trained militia"? First of all the problem is that there most gun owners are far from 'well trained'. Second, is the question whether the US as evolved to a state where militia is either needed of adequate.
>It was to keep the people safe, and the citizens a free people.
Wrong.. it was to defend you and your family against hostile military forces, not to shoot your neighbour when you have an argument with him.
>Removing guns of any kind is step 1) toward America truly ending in the form most people today believe it to exist, even though it hasn't existed that way for a century, to be replaced with a servitude model for the masses. No "freedom" at that point.
Another nothing meaning word: "Freedom". Your American Freedom is a myth, a doctrine that does not exist. In many countries you are actually more free than the US.
