If not then check the assembly that you can't debug:
Select Build in the properties window. Make sure 'Optimize code' is not selected and, in the 'Advanced' settings set 'Debug Info' to full

This is already the case. Like I said, I found a workaround, but I would like to figure out what is going on for future reference if I can.
