>>Men of conscience must move as they believe to be right. This includes refusing to obey

>It's not up to law enforcement to decide what is wrong or right - it's
>their job and sworn duty to uphold the law

It's up to all of us. It's part of our responsibility as citizens. Ever hear of jury nullification? Or a citizen's arrest? When citizens are informed rightly of the circumstances related to some event, and recognize the injustice taking place, they are to act.

>not the laws that they THINK are unconstitutional. Plus these guys are
>not lawyers or judges - they're cops and not qualified to determine
>what's constitutional and what's not.

Our nation stems from We The People. The men here come together and reason things out. They assess the situation. There are designing men on one side pushing laws through that are designed to harm people. And then on the other side there are men of conscience willing to take a stand and defend the way it should be, the way it used to be, the way they believe it was meant to be (such as the 2nd amendment being, as someone wrote here recently, the amendment that makes sure all the other amendments will always be here).

If one man is acting alone, it's often an indication of something inappropriate (though not always), a probable cause for concern or rebuke. But when a large number of people begin to amass, it becomes a movement and takes on an entirely different character.

>>>I think it's naive to think that any sheriff who's ok with having more guns
>>>in his district isn't politically motivated.
>>If that were his motivation. It isn't. Many people have arrived at the same
>>conclusion. Patriots they should be called.
>I disagree.

I don't think you understand what it means to be a man of conscience, or what it means to follow purposefully through one's own choices foundational principles and doctrines, in this case those inherent in the roots of the U.S. as we observe in the period writings and founding documents, such as our Constitution and Declaration of Independence. We still celebrate that day each year for a reason, some 236 years later.
