I have a Web Connection server application that has lots of functions that need to integrate with my Windows NT environment. I'm using Vlad Tatavu's excellent NTUser and NTGroup ActiveX controls to handle the automation of NT user and group account management.

Now I need to automate a few file-oriented functions. I am looking for a COM or API solution to handle the following:

1. Virus Scanning - I will be receiving file uploads via HTTP using web forms. My VFP server application will save the incoming data to files on the server and registering the names in a DBF. I would like to call a virus scanning engine under program control, and have the ability to set a flag in the DBF based on whether the scan was successful. Does anyone know of a virus scanning application that supports COM or has an API that allows this?

2. ACL Settings - I need to be able to create new directories under program control (using MD command), and then call some function that allows me to assign local group access settings (read, write, delete) for that directory. Does anyone know of a programmatic interface to do this reliably?
