>Thanks, this is extensive... you really seem to like windev, or else why'd you bother adding all those callouts.

I do like WinDev but that is not my motivation. I guess there are probably several reasons for taking the effort. One is that this forum has helped me many times over the years and perhaps this gives something back, especially to fellow programmers who are not bound by corporate dictates and/or who are independent off-the-shelf application developers or contractors who have more freedom to choose the tools of their trade. There are other reasons I suppose including that in helping to explain something you also gain a better understanding of it yourself perhaps.

>I like the syntax - not too many special signs involved, foxish in style... which brings me to another subquestion (which IS a word in serbian): object containership. How is that handled, i.e. can objects, other than forms, have members?

Do I understand the question correctly that you are asking if one can create custom objects with properties and methods. And then be able to create multiple instances of that custom object? If that is the question then the answer is yes. And it is done so simply; New class, name it, create it. Right click the class in the project window, add new property/method, name it, enter assign/get code for a property or enter code for a method. Would you like to see the screencaps for that process?
