The biggest thing with web is smaller screen size. You have to take that into account. I suggest you look at MVC4. It has some good stuff that makes it easier to deal with different devices.

If you have ANY database access in the UI, it won't work. I've seen applications where it was claimed to be n-tier, only to find out they weren't.
