I guess it's time to admit my ignorance! I've never used an ODBC connection. Another possible glitch, I'm using Windows 7 (and the end user isn't). I attempted to follow instructions for setting up a connection, then I found info regarding needing a 32 bit version? I thought I had tracked that down and downloaded it successfully, but even that version bombs on me. When I double click Microsoft Access I get the error: "The setup routines for the Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb) ODBC driver could not be found. Please reinstall the driver." When I select "OK" I get: "Errors Found: The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application".

In my Control Panel I have both "ODBC (32-bit)" and "Administrative Tools Set Up Data Sources (ODBC)". Both cause the same error.

I know I can't be trying to reinvent the wheel here. There has to be some way to simply just get a copy of that data.

My current choices seem to be to throw this all out the window and into the rain OR go have a beer. I'll go for option 2 and check back later. I know how to get a beer, but any suggestions regarding my data issue are greatly appreciated.

(And Dragan, you get a huge gold star for your patience!)

Thanks as always,
Martha
