>>It's a good thing you aren't driving as well. I know this is an old gripe of mine but it astounds me how many people do it. Over the weekend a fellow motorist nearly veered into my car. After pulling left out of her drift I looked over and saw she was texting, at 50 mph. That would look great on your tombstone, honey. The cell phone companies here have started running TV commercials saying Don't Do That.

>well, texting comes right after shaving or applying makeup in the car on my list of reasons to take them home as heavy bag replacement, esp when encountered on 2 wheels only.

I worked with a guy who shaved on his way to work every morning (electric razor). He's gone now. It was a heart attack, not shaving, but still.

Another guy who worked with both of us, who brought this guy into the company, told me later he regretted not intervening. He said Mike (the one who suffered the heart attack) was at a graduation party at his house the day before and left early after vomiting. Jim was so busy playing host that he didn't notice Mike had left. He said vomiting for no apparent reason can precede a heart attack. He said I would have called an ambulance right away. Mike's daughter found him dead on the floor of his bedroom the next morning.
