Hi, I tried to have always a record in a grid using a sort of automatic append whenever the grid was empty but the problems with this approach were not worth the effort.
I settled on a shortcut menu activated from the right click of the mouse that allows to add records. I was very dubious at first but I've had no problems yet so for as user reactions. Apparently, even if we, developers, don't know it yet, a user, when not knowing what to do will press the right mouse button and hope that something happens.
