First steps...

Get rid of all SEEK/LOCATE/INSERT/BROWSE, etc. Basically anything that accesses the data directly. Move all that to local views or CursorAdapter. Then you'll use remote views or the same cursor adapter to get at the server data.

Anyway, I bit the bullet and bought the latest suite from www.dbi-tech.com , so I'll have to rebuild from scratch anyway. There's a bunch of other stuff I have to do in my app, like upsize the VFP DB to MySQL. Don't have a clue about that. Any ideas?
