>The List class (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/6sh2ey19%28v=vs.90%29.aspx) also supports an indeterminate number of items. Given your usage, you may also want to consider using a Dictionary (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/xfhwa508%28v=vs.90%29.aspx) as it will provide O(1) access to your data by the field. A dictionary will only work if your field is unique though.

Rob, I just wanted to comment from the bleachers that I really like your .NET posts. If I get to know 10% of what you know about it I will consider myself lucky.

Wisconsin in the news this week, at least to fans of American fiction --

I guess you can't complain when a professor stays for almost 30 years, or when they decline to turn down barrels of money. It's unfair in a way because state universities living under state budgets can't pay what private universities can. But that's reality.

I have read all her books and think she is one of the best writers we have. I encouraged my daughter, who is a UW sophomore, to try to get into her creative writing class, but it was probably impossible and maybe even limited to English majors. What I have always liked about her writing is she can turn on a dime from laugh out loud funny to deadly serious. (One great passage: "I was just at a departmental meeting. They are called that because you depart mental"). IAC it's too late now. Madison's loss is Vanderbilt's gain.
