>Hey Mikey!
Hello! How's the weather over there on the other side of the pass? We recently had that inversion mess here making things foggy and nasty.
>I don't do mobile or web stuff. I don't know squat about it. I don't even own a smartphone!! Can ya believe it? <g>
Yeah, I can believe it. The only reason I have a smartphone is because someone gave it to me.
You and Gary have been doing C# right?
Android is just a bunch of Java classes, so everything should be very familiar.
You can run the apps on an emulator on your computer if you don't have an actual Android to test on.
Not trying to force you out of your comfort zone by any means.
And I personally like Android but would rather work in JavaScript now purely because its cross platform.
That said, it would take only a couple hours (and ZERO DOLLARS!) to get setup with Android, and less than a week to have an app that does something.
At the very least, do you wonder if your potential clients are looking at the tablet/phone space for features?
Like I said, I'd be willing to help you get started, also free of charge, naturally.
