I've inherited an application that uses Arial font for everything. It doesn't really look bad, but it got me wondering what the 'standard' is or if there is one. I kind of like Arial, but Sans Serif seems more common. Do people use one font for on screen dialogue, or buttons, and another for printed output? Does anyone consider whether printed output is destined for a dot matrix or laser printer? Any comments on fonts in general is appreciated.
