Good luck with that one. The POS restaurant app that I wrote fortunately had a static floor map so I didn't need to worry about it.

I suppose that you could store each table button's top, left, width and height and just position them when you startup the app. You could allow them to drag the buttons to new locations as desired.

Good luck if they then decide that they want to rotate the tables too :)
