We had some topics on this a while ago here when I designed my framework to support that. Basically, I am looking for a confirmation that the infrastructure in place is ok. The proper terminology was the word thread. So, basically, we can attach an application pool to a Web site. That application pool can have multiple worker process. Each worker process is capable of handling multiple threads (hits), thus processing them in parallel, while there is a queue of pending hits, when needed in the background.
