I understand your viewpoint - it's a typical Americans-are-always-right response (generally said by someone who's never even been out of the USA and gets their world views from FOX news)....but even if your rather skewed view was correct, I myself would rather be a dead pacifists than a living woman/child killer. One might also point out that if you go around nuking innocent people your allies would have a tendency to jump ship in this day & age.
