I am not afraid to try things and have hacked "DBFs" myself. In this case I see no point in resorting to hackery. It wouldn't be any faster to manually flip flags in the .pjx, one by one, than to do so using Project Manager.
The importance of backing up the metadata before hacking it can never be overemphasized.
