The most important message from this piece is that it's easier to criticize than to propose policies of your own.

For example, has he stated a policy of his own about legalization of pot? Easy enough to paste his own criticisms back at him as soon as he does. Unless he really is an anarchist.

As for these platitudes:
>> True freedom demands complete faith in the individual and the ability to be repulsed by their choices. True freedom dictates a hands-off policy that allows people to fail and be disgusting. True freedom means living, and letting live.

What about traffic lights? What about shouting "fire" in a crowded theater? Lets see some real life policies so we can call him a hypocrite- because those are the parameters he has established for his targets.

Behold the way of the armchair critic: their "contribution" is to tear down others without proposing anything to replace it. IOW "whining" to use a popular descriptive term often issued by ACCs against the target de jour.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
