There is another potential issue with binding a grid to a table. It's much more likely you will get data corruption. Also, if you ever SET FILTER on that table, the scroll thumb on the grid does not behave properly because it's position is based on the entire table, not the unfiltered records. This causes frustration to the user because the thumb won't be at the top or bottom and they can't get it there.
