I'm Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. I've been swamped.

I think we are talking about two different things. You seem to be talking about VFP active document. I have not used that at all. I'm talking about ASP, Active Server Pages, ASP is completely separate from Fox. You use ODBC to get data from any data source and write code, either VB script or Java script, that runs on the IIS server. This script gets the data thur SQL pass thur statements and then formats it to return to the browser as HTML.
We use that method here alot. The down side is that if you really need to do data manipulation, it's slow and takes lot of code. We have written a lot of COM objects in VFP that we call from the ASP page when we need to do that, and then return the results for the ASP to format to HTML.
