An old client just surfaced with some problems. I used Cryptor 5 to give him the encryption he wanted in the application.
Since I last did anything for him, I've switched to a 64-bit Windows 7 machine. I'm now trying to register Cryptor, so that I can run this application.
I'm having no luck. I poked around online and learned that I needed to use the version of RegSvr32 that's in the SysWOW64 folder, not the System32 folder. I also saw an indication that DEP might be in the way, so disabled it for RegSvr32, but still no joy.
When I issue this command:
regsvr32 D:\<path to the right folder>\Cryptor\xicr50.dll
I get this error:
------------
The module "D:\path to the right folder\Cryptor\xicr50.dll" failed to load.
Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files.
Invalid access to memory location.

Any suggestions?
